In the Spotlight
North Pole
Miss Corbin's 1st grade class took a ride to the North Pole. They had to figure out how to get back to the sleigh before it left them there!
Here is one of the lucky ones that made it back from the North Pole!
Because of Winn Dixie
3rd grade celebrated finishing "Because of Winn Dixie" by having a "Because of Winn Dixie" Day!
Mrs. Spurlock's 3rd grade class started a Project Lead the Way by designing something that will reduce the impact of flooding.
Special Lunch Visitors!🤶🏻🎅
Our wonderful cafeteria staff worked so hard today to provide an AMAZING lunch for everyone! We were even blessed with two visitors from the North Pole!
Our little Elf, Pickles, sure surprised us all today with what he was up too! We want to know how he got into that bottle!?!
This Week's DOJO Leaders!
A Special Thank You!
JCD Schools would like give a great big THANK YOU to the Osgood Beautification/Outreach for paying all the negative lunch balances for our students in both the elementary and high school! As of 12/15 all lunch accounts are paid in full! They have also paid for 1 lunch for each of our students! We are so appreciative of their support and kindness!
Prek-2 Christmas Program
Our Prek-K will be performing at 6:00 and our 1st-2nd grades will perform at 7:00. Please have your children were their Christmas Best! We are looking forward to seeing and hearing all of the hard work they have put into their programs! Mrs. Fox will be sending out some other information for those with special parts.
DOJO Celebrations
When we come back from Christmas break, we will be celebrating students that are going above the average when it comes to making good choices! These students not only make good choices, but they make sure to display the good character traits that we learn about! We will have a special celebration for these kids that have maintained a 90% or higher on their DOJO for the semester. This is a great accomplishment!
This Week's Menu
Principal's Corner🎄
Christmas is in the air! Our lunch today was amazing and the kids all looked so nice in their Christmas best! They were very appreciative of the nice meal our cafeteria staff prepared and especially excited to see our visitors from the North Pole!
There have been some questions about when NWEA reports will be sent home. We will work hard to get these reports sent home next week!
Next week is a shorter week. Thursday will be our last day before break and also Christmas parties will take place on Thursday as well.
Have a wonderful weekend!
