School Counseling
School counseling at Jac-Cen-Del High School is an essential piece to the puzzle in our students' educational experience and ultimately their future. It is our mission to instruct and support students in conjunction with teachers and administration from grades seven through twelve. We look forward to the future of Jac-Cen-Del as we continue our collaboration within the community to design new programs and opportunities for our students.Guidance Services

Counseling can occur in a variety of ways. Listed below are the options most used in the School Counseling Office.
Individual Appointments & Open Office/Walk-in Times
Face-to-face meetings where a counselor provides a student with the maximum privacy needed to freely explore ideas, feelings and behaviors. Often topics in these private conversations include, but are not limited to post-secondary planning, scheduling, career and college opportunities, scholarships, or personal concerns.
Schedule an appointment
Meeting of an entire class can sometimes offer the best opportunity to provide guidance to the largest number of students. Large group sessions normally deal with orientation, career development, course scheduling, and educational planning.
All services provided by your school counselor is free, voluntary, and completely confidential, except as required by law to the students, families, teachers, and school staff in the Jac-Cen-Del Community School Corporation.
